LIME OUT

is a floating taco boat located at Hansen Bay on the East End of St. John. We are located about 250 feet off the beach so you will need a vessel (boat / paddle board / peddle boat / kayak) to reach us! Come lime with us and be sure to enjoy the natural serenity and scenery around you while enjoying a delicious taco and a hand-crafted cocktail.

Testimonials

Live on stt and work on stj and have heard great things about here! Went there today on a birthday boat trip and had a great time! Great tacos and drinks, even loan you a corksicle (with a deposit which you’ll get back as long as they get they’re cup back). Not usually a taco person but they were delicious! Great servers too! Can’t wait to go back!

You’d think that the tacos from a swim-up restaurant wouldn’t be that good, right? That they’d just use the unique location as an appeal to get people to visit, but not put a lot of focus on the quality of the food? WRONG and WRONG. Lime Out was so much fun to visit by boat and by kayak...and the tacos were OUTSTANDING. We went back because they were that good. We even went during the middle of a rainstorm...because again, the tacos are that good. Do yourself a favor and go!

The restaurant is located off shore, so a boat, kayak, or paddle board is needed to reach it. Fun to paddle out, the sit in the water or on a float and eat great tacos and drink great cocktails. The shrimp taco was awesome. We had a great time, met some awesome folks, and got some exercise paddling out. There are kayaks and paddle boards for rent on Hansen’s beach.

My family and I went out to experience the new floating bar in Hansen Bay, and absolutely loved it! The tacos and drinks are delicious. Some of the best tacos we’ve ever had. You can’t go wrong with any option. They even have a vegan option. The employees are wonderful; very nice and friendly. We had dropped our underwater camera and Shane had it returned to us that night. We rented a paddle board and a kayak from the women on the beach for $35 for 1hr and 20min. You have to pay for parking as well from them for $3pp. We returned a bit late and they were still very friendly. Highly recommend to go check it out and try the danger cocktail!
